Me and My Mazda

Hi guys,

Matt here with my 1994 Mazda B3000, V6 3.0 L.
Great little truck I have had for almost three years and recently gained a new found taste for working on here (partially out of necessity, but also enjoying it).

She's getting a new clutch here at the shop in a few days and then I'll be back on the road with her. Currently sitting at 195K for the mileage. She's got plenty of good life in here though.

Thanks everybody

Welcome to the forum, I have the same truck, but mine is a 99.
Tell the mechanic to install a "Ford Motorcraft" slave cylinder or you'll be pulling the trans in about another year. (some after market slaves will last, some won't, you take a gamble with slave cylinders when using aftermarket)
Also a good idea to replace the oil pan gasket and the rear main crank seal.
The oil pan can be dropped if the engine is lifted off its mounts enough with the trans off.

See this for some interesting reading. That's me as the "guest" in the second link, starting at post 13.
It's still sitting in pieces while I wait for my "Speedi-Sleeve.
