Hey all

Live in the Middle of the mitten, really came here because I have a 99' ford Ranger 3.0 V-6 flex fuel and I need a motor for it,my son drives the truck to school and work, money is tight and was thinking motor replace cheaper than vehicle replace....what are my option with the motor? does it have to be a flex fuel? anybody have one? best place to look? combed the salvage yards everything is going for around $500 and they can't tell me much about the motor,,,,any and all help would be outstanding!
