New from PA!
Well I bought my 93 Ranger XLT off my dad about 4 months ago for $1000 and he bought it for $500 from a guy who had it sitting for a few years. It's a 2.3 2wd 5 speed and it only has 107,000 miles on it.
So far we've put 15in chrome rims on it and I just painted the stock 14in in a hammered grey.
I painted the faded grey bumper trim/step/grill/airdam black.
I literally just changed the air filter(was gonna attempt the airbox mod but I don't think I can with my model).
I did the throttle cable mod with the zip ties and I lightly tinted my tail lights.
I'm always looking for different ways to make my ranger stand out and it looks like this site has a lot to offer me.
My next goal is to do the 40/40 bucket seats and possibly find a center console to put in there that will work with my stick(link me if you know of something)
I have a small rust spot on the bed but it is just orange peel and it isn't too bad but it will eventually be patched up.
Onto the pictures!
I removed the running boards already and I have a toolbox for the back if I ever need it.
Before anything was done
You can almost see where the rust is on this one
How the truck looks currently
I'll add more of everything I've done so far later today. I'm new to the ford/truck scene but I used to build hondas more specific a 95 coupe with a b18c swap for any familiars.
My plans are to eventually turbo the lima and get some much needed horsepower. Already starting to piece together a kit but funds are short right now.
