New From CA

Hey Ranger-Forums!

I'm a noob from Nor-Cal and I just purchased a 2004 Ford Ranger about 3 weeks ago. It had 56xxx on it and got it for $9600. I was driving a Honda civic for the past 5 years and loved every minute of it. But I knew it was time to move on. I wanted a truck that could get great gas mileage and was looking at the Newer 05+ Tacoma but decided that 17k to 21k was going to be too much for me. So when I was browsing around I came across a small used car dealer ship in my area and was originally looking at a Jeep. But wasn't too sure. It had high mileage wasn't my taste. I asked the sales manager of to show me what other truck's/suv they had. And off in the distance I saw it. My Ranger! So I thought and thought about it and figured that this deal was too good to be true. So I took it for a test drive and as soon as I pulled back up. I told him this truck will do just fine!

Now I have my Ranger and love it. I stumbled upon this site because I love to mod things and do my own thing. So I hope to learn new thing's to take the best care of my truck and spread my future knowledge to others. After my long **** paragraph Here are some quick pictures And my first two mods:

Spent a good amount on a Line-X Bed liner!

And spent about two day's doing my Explorer Overhead Console. :sly:

PS I am a little skeptical about taking pictures of my truck and posting them on the internet but I'm doing all I can to black out my plates and make every precaution to stay safe. Can't trust anyone any more! :suspect:

Nice looking truck. Welcome.

But can't everyone that drives behind you, in front of you, and walks in the same parking lot as you park see your license plate?

Yes your 100% correct about that. But there are some pretty smart people out there that can do an will do anything to get what they want by hacking their way in; going a step further by using the internet. IMO by posting and leaving plates open on the Internet makes me feel vulnerable to automotive theft, identity theft, fraud etc. People will do anything to get anything, yet I'm not driving a nice car or a flashy vehicle but you never know. Yes anyone can get any plate out when your vehicle is parked out in public driving and so on, but why do it there and get the risk of getting caught. It's far easier to do it in the comfort of your home, where no one can see you or identify you lurking around picking out cars and their plates.

Yeah, that's why I'm in disguise as a man.

I'm really a 600 pound lady who's bed ridden and eats 5 boxes of twinkies a day.

P.S.........please don't tell anyone.
