New from Georgia

I just bought a 1999 Ranger, 4cyl 5spd about a week ago. I have already hauled several things with it.

It needs new ball joints, which seems like a common problem. I am going to buy them this weekend and start working. It seems like a straight forward procedure once I get the correct tools. This forum has already been a big help with information about the ball joints.

Whats up Michael, nice to see another Georgian here. Yeah I also own a '99, and just last weekend I replaced my lower ball joints. Its a simple procedure, just a lil time consuming. One peice of advise I can tell ya is to go to Advance Auto or any other chain like that and rent the ball joint service kit, it was a huge help for me.

I drove down Montgomery on Friday and saw your truck in a parking lot. I will stop by next time.
