Just saying hello and glad to be a member here at the Ranger-Forums.
We have never owned a truck before this and we will be excited to get it on the road. So Im sure I will be in need of some expertise with fellow members. So thanks ahead of time and will appreciate the help any one can give on advice or recommendations.

I love Red Rangers, only color Ranger I have ever owned and there have been a few.

Change the fluid on schedule, including coolant, and have the computer codes read twice a year, they do it for free at most auto parts stores, write down any codes that pop up, and ask them to reset/clear the codes after reading them.

Computers store codes in a history file, the codes don't always turn on the CEL(check engine light) unless there is possible problem that needs to be dealt with ASAP.
Getting the pre-CEL codes can keep you ahead of any problems.

 

Thanks for the advice. Mine has 70,000 so would you change the tranny fluid and the rear differential fluid?

 

Welcome to the site! I would change the tranny fluid and filter,the diff should be good to 100k unless it's leaking then change it.
