I'd say she's pretty benign compared to what most of you have done to your Rangers. Bought brand new, it's an '02 4x2 XLT SuperCab 4-dr, 4.0L, auto, white with tan interior. You would think I could have found several like this on local lots, but nooooo....I had to drive to a dealership 2 hours away to get what I wanted. My only regret is not getting 4x4...live n learn. She's still pretty stock, but I have installed a Sony stereo with upgraded speakers, OEM running bars, Ford bedliner, Curt class III hitch, Undercover bed cover (love it!), and an AMP bed extender. Not that it's a mod, but the Michelin LTX tires I put on after the OEM's wore out was a big plus. Now the crazy part....only 44K original miles. Not long after I bought it, I upgraded my "hooptie" to something a little nicer and was more than happy to let the Ranger sit in the garage while putting miles on the Taurus. It's been the gun range, haul stuff, go camping, tow the boat vehicle for me but is also just fun to drive at least once a week. Using average Ranger life mileage, she's only got about 65 years left....
