Ranger nut here...
Hello,
I am 49 uear old Ranger nut. My first Ranger was my brother's 1986 red and silver V6 he bought brand new in 1986, I bought it in 1989 and my best friend totalled it in 1991. In 1991 I bought my first brand new Ranger a silver extended cab beauty with red striping down the sides. I lost that in a divorce in 1993 and proceeded to buy another Ranger in 1993 that was lifted by the dealership and had a premium sound system. My 1993 was stolen in 1995 and never found in 1996 I needed a work truck and got a steal at auction buying a 1994 Mazda Ranger with only 57k miles on it and it was clean. I had that until 2006 after logging 200k miles on the odometer. Then I sold the Mazda Ranger to buy a brand new 2006 Ranger which I still own. I recently bought my son a 1999 stepside with low miles and in real nice condition for $3,500 (garaged in so cal) no dents or rust and only 98k miles. He practically wants to live in the truck!
My wife took over my 2015 F150 when she got sick of repair bills on her grand cherokee. I’ve finally converted her to Ford trucks:)
The cherokee is finally gone and we are using the money we got for that as down payment on the new 2019 Ranger. We’ve already preordered our new ranger and we also had the chance to test drive one in Arcadia. One of the first things we will do after we get the new Ranger is take a photo of the old ranger, the new ranger, and the f150 parked side by side:)
