New Ranger owner

Hello all. I just bought my first Ranger. I really like it. It's a 2011 XLT supercab V6 4.0L auto 5 spd trans. I was cruising the net looking for bedliners and shells when I thought I should look into a ranger forum. I'm a member of a T-Bird forum and it has been very helpfull when working on my T bird. From what little I've seen of this forum it looks to be very similiar. Thanks for having me!

You bought it just in time! This is the last year for them. Good decision! Welcome to the site!

No pics yet, but I will take some and post them soon.

I'm currently shopping for shell and bedliner. Ideally I would like a setup consisting of a full time overrail bed liner and an easy on/off shell.

I was speaking with a fella yesterday who has a brand new OEM over rail bedliner for sale. He said he had it installed but didn't like it. He said some screw-in assembly plugs or some such were coming loose and causing some movement. He said he thinks they need some additional screws or something. It sounded like probably a minor modification/correction issue. He also said that he is getting a snugtop shell and the shell will not accomodate an over the rail bedliner which gives me pause. Anybody have any suggestions as to easy on/off shells that will accomodate over the rail bedliners?

I have a 1996 T-Bird 4.6L V-8 Sport Option. I'm the original owner and love the car. The Ford dealer said I could get an additional $1000 or $ 2000 rebate by using it as a trade-in. Lucky for him the car didn't hear him. I think she would have taken offense at the low value assigned to her. She has aprox 130K on her but she runs better than new. I haven't done much in the way of mods but she purrs nice and has a lot of spunk. Anybody that knows these birds know they have an issue with intake manifolds. Long story short, I recently replaced it with a PI manifold. That along with the K&N filter and performance mufflers has it running real sweet and I hope to put at least another 130K on her.
