New to RF from KS

Hello from Kansas! I am new to the "Ranger community", if that's what it's called. Anyway, a little about me, I have helped my dad work on his Ranger since he's had it (going on 8 years now) and since I moved out and needed a new vehicle, I thought, "why not get something I know I can work on?" So yesterday, I bought a 1994 XLT Ranger. It's nothing too crazy, just a 2.3 with a 5-speed standard trans. Even still, it's a really clean little truck. This is my first Ford too. My first truck was a 1986.5 Nissan Hardbody (I'm a member of the Infamous Nissan forums if anyone here is). I had the Nissan for about 9 months when the transmission went out. After that, I bought a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. That was fun but the gas mileage was terrible. So after a good run with the Jeep, I decided it was time for another mini-truck. I couldn't find something like my previous truck so I branched out and found the Ranger that I now call my own. So that's how I got here and I hope to stick around a while haha. If you want to know more, just keep on reading.

I recently graduated, back in May to be exact. I'm now working full time at a little joint called Lenny's Sub Shop (people East of Kansas may know about Lenny's). I've been working there for about a year now. Outside of my job, I have built a home forge and I create knives for a hobby. It's pretty fun, despite the high heat put out by the forge itself. And when I'm not making knives or working, I am usually doing things related to the band I'm in. We started up around January and have been working on our performance since then. We play metalcore style music and have become pretty popular among local venues. Pretty good for a small band, in my opinion. One of the members, and my best friend, Christian (our guitarist) also has a Ranger. He actually pushed me toward buying one haha. His is a 1998 XLT. (I will have a thread with a picture of both of our trucks in it.)

Other than that, I'm just another proud owner of a Ranger. Thanks for reading everyone!
