Newb - '05 "FX2"

Wandered over here to check it out, I frequent RPS some usually. I'm 21 in the Orlando area, moving back west (Vegas) by the first of the year to go work a deal I have with Desert BMW. I run a '05 "FX2"/Edge, with just a 3.0L and an auto. 8.8" diff with a open carrier 4.10. I have a factory limited slip that will be going in soon. Have an x-cal2 tuner, 8000k HIDs, blacked out stock housings, better built tool box, taurus fan, and a couple little quirks.

Couple pics before the blacked housings

and to keep true to my screen-name, i also have a '72 Plymouth Barracuda

Hey man, welcome over! Saw that you used construction adhesive putting the lights back together lol, I wonder if you'll ever be able to get them apart again if you need to lol. I used clear silicone on mine. Hope you enjoy it over here!

Well I didn't put anything in the groove of the lights when they were apart. I sandwiched them together and laid a bead of the adhesive, i should be able to just slit down the glue, or do the heatup trick again to get them apart if need be. Hope i never need to lol

I wanted to make sure i wouldn't have issues down the road. Florida and soon moving to Nevada will get some wicked heat directly on the lights, didn't want them separating or anything sitting outside in 115* for awhile!

Seems like a good site, just went through the big 'tow strap' thread, i really need to get a decent strap. I just have one with hooks on the ends that got me out of a jam once, then again I don't wheel ALL that much. Once i hit Vegas, my 2wd will be all I need, unlike Florida with the MUD lol!

Sounds good, i'm over in Lake Mary. A few of us from over at RPS are going to meet up August 16th for the 4Wheel Parts event they gotgoin on. Apparently someone knows of a bit of mud to go wheelin through.

I run Definity Mud Terrains. Sold by Pepboys, made by Cooper. Got em on sale for like $300 or so for the set

I took some updated pics with the blacked headlights

Welcome. Good looking truck. Where did you get the FX2 decal? I like the tires to. Wish I could get a set on mine.
