Newb from SE texas

Hello. Just bought my first Ranger. 1998 2.5 5 speed single cab.

I bought it for 1800 from a high school kid. Awesome right? Well first things first. Maintenance. Plugs, wires, oil, PCv, air filter, a/c dryer, temp sensor. Just need a fuel filter.

First mod was a tach cluster. Just put it in last night. Next will be 15" stock rims with some 31s then a bed cover.

Well I look forward to meeting some of you. I'm here for help and to be helped.

I live in seabrook Texas and I'm currently looking for a set of stock 7 spoke 15"s.

Thanks
-Ford

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome.

Yeah this site has helped me twice so far. With code 27 on my airbags. I changed the light. The second was with my new cluster. I needed to make sure the vss on the newer models wasn't going to interfere with anything on my truck.

Ill post pictures later when I get home.

That's a nice looking truck. Those wheels look great. Welcome to the site! Your truck will never be the same again!

I like the mud flaps... I wish they were bigger. Haha

Cool nice to know someone is close by. Lol you don't happen to have a 8.8 or 7.5 rearend with 4:10 in it do you. I feel like I'm driving a turd.

Picked up a fuel filter. The last thing I needed for my tune up. Just need to find the time to put it on.
