Trying Ranger out to help out with my 89 ranger ext cab. Need help with driveshaft problem. I am trying to get a fix for the rubber donut on the front of driveshaft. I am aware that this is not replaceable. Any ideas?
thanks for all the info! but I should have been more detailed, the problem is the rotoflex coupling between the front yoke and the drive shaft. I can't locate one for replacement.I was hoping to find someone that has the same problem and found a fix.
I'm not to sure about 89's but, I thought it was just a slip-yoke. It don't understand why there is a rubber boot there, it should slide in to the transmission and be held in by bolting it to the rear end.
