My intro!!

Hello all!! I think I am the newest member as of today! I stumbled across your site here and found some good info and great threads.

I live in Houston, Tx and I am in the process of building a boosted '94 Mazda B2300 2.3L. I need to get a new laptop as mine was stolen a while ago. I just finished my 3/4 static drop (DJM I-beams and axle flip in the rear) last night. Honestly its not low enough up front! It sits level.... I'm rolling on a set of '99-'00 cobra svt silver wheels. Installed a '98 explorer 8.8" rear axle with 3.73's and factory LS with discs. I recently did the '04 explorer sport trac 12" rotor front brake upgrade with the '95-'97 caliper and spindle swap.

I haven't spent much time inside the cab on upgrades other than ditching the factory vynal bench seat for a set of 60-40 cloth seats from a '99 Ranger. Tossed in a Hurst shifter and used the factory floor molding with the included Hurst shifter boot to keep it simple and clean. Waiting for gauges to fill up a dual gauge a-pillar pod. Head unit is a newer Kennwood something (Christmas gift).

2.3 turbo will be in long block form hopefully by weeks end. Block is from a '93 2.3l ranger. Custom turned upper intake manifold, Esslinger round tooth pulley kit, ARP head & main studs, 72# injectors, big front mount intercooler, ported big valve head with Bo-port 2.5 stage cam kit. Planning on running an HE351CW turbo from an '06 5.9l cummins on a stainless tubular header with 4" down pipe reduced to 3" exhaust and a Magnaflow muffler. Engine management will be handled by a Moates quarterhorse chip until I decide to plunge into a Megasquirt someday. Clutch is a 6 puck sprung disc and yellow pressure plate from clutchnet for the factory M50D.

I'm sure I've left some out but I'll be around to share more later. I look forward to shooting the breeze and hopefully learning a few things or helping someone else with a trial or two!!!! Thanks and I hope to get some pics up soon.
