quick question please
on a 2005 ranger edge, should the compressor kick on only with the heat/defroster or on any heat setting? on my 92 ranger it only came on in the defrost mode, perhaps things have changed... dealer said any heat setting, is this true? thanks for info, tom

Not any heat setting... If you have it on defrost, it will be on, if you have it on face AND feet, it will be on, if you have it on face OR feet, it should not be on...

the A/C compressor will come on with ANY setting except for the upper vents and the floor vents...with those 2 settings it will not kick on...
