Ambers Rig

Well, its a work in progress. But being a sporty girl, (softball, golf, and motorcycles) and a love for the desert. The truck needs to be more offroad looking, and worthy.
The bike is loaded, and ready to go, but the truck needs a lift (maybe 2-3 in.) maybe some lights, and any other ideas are welcome
Need an inexpensive lift. Thinking about Canuck motorsport lift for $214. on ebay.
includes 2 springs, 2 shocks, u-bolts, and leaf spacer. Any ideas on that?

2001
3.0 ltr. 2wd,
stock
30x15 bfg's

Look forward to posting the progress.

Those springs ride like ****. They are super stiff and is a bad ride. But it will give you a lift if thats all your looking for.

I want lift but not a harsh ride, is that possible?
Is there a spring that offers that?

A spindle lift will offer your stock ride feel with a lift. They are more expensive but are better IMO.

Lowering springs and lift springs are different. The lift springs don't allow for enough down travel like stock whereas the lowering springs don't affect down travel only uptravel. I had the lift springs on my truck and they made it ride like crap.

Its like putting the ball in the square hole as a kid. Sure it will fit if you push hard enough but it doesn't mean its going to be good or meant to be.

How about a little lift? I have pretty much the same rig. I have a 3 inch spindle, Explorer rear leaf springs, Belltech 6400 shackles, and 265/75 R16 ( 32's for the non metric world). Whatever you do... DO NOT USE BLOCKS. They will ruin your springs and make them go flat. And then it will really ride like crap. Expo leafs with the shackles is good for 4 1/2 inches in the rear.

Your dirtbike is cooler than mine, no fair. And "Ty_4x4_ftw", why the hell do u think she would want a camburg lift? They're so damn expensive and she has a dirtbike, even if I had 3-5k to spend on a lift I would never do it.

Welcome to the site though

(edit- Ty I guess that lift is only 2300$ish. Still way too expensive)

Watch out buying stuff off of ebay, make sure its a reputable brand, personally there is some stuff i will not go ebay on, one is suspension, Ebay stuff does break and personally i dont want my suspension failing.

Also welcome to the forums!
