RANGER 99 LEAKING REAR WINDOW

Hello
I have a Ranger 99 EXT CAB and I have problems with the rear window I have been replace de sealant ( butyl ) but still leaking water the butyl was Glazing & Sealing Tape 1/8" x 1/2" x 25' Black. I don't know what to do I was thinking to use Caulk or any sealant any advice?

I had the same problem. I had my rear window sealed by an auto glass shop. It still leaked then I had them seal my third brake light. Still leaked. I ran water over my truck with a hose and the water was coming through a body seam above my extended cab window. I caulked it with black silicone and it hasn't leaked since. It doesn't look great but my truck sits high enough you can't really see it.

thanks for your answer. but my track have no body seam, look like roof is in one piece.
I check and water are coming from the gasket I probably have to remove the window again and put some silicone sealant but I wondering what brand and kind?

thanks again

The guy I took my truck to said the butyl stuff was crap and they use urethane. Best bet would be to have someone seal it for you. Or try to find some urethane windshield adhesive.
