I actually never got rid of mine, so within 12 hours of my truck falling it was back on the road after i woke up and did the swap the next morning. I'm supposedly getting some 18x9 Cobra R's to put under it and as soon as I get those I'm stripping off the body lift and putting as low as I can with all stock stuff.

What? Do you mean my axle is ontop of my leafs? if so, then yes, that is what the flip kit does. Gives you 5inches of drop.

99 rangers should have the 10.28inch rotors, but measure to make sure. No you don't have to change calipers unless they went bad. Do you need pads too?
As for offset, get wheels that are for 94-04mustangs. the 05up are completely off

I think black would look sick on a white truck. There is one guy i know running that, and i like the way it looks. It really boils down to your own personal preference. stick with 18x9, the 10s are way too wide....unless you just run them in the back for a wide tire.

i didnt' swap to an expo, I did a cobra disc brake conversion for the stock Ranger rear end. Cost me ~$400 in brand new Ford Racing parts. You can put it on your axle in about two hours or less. Much eaiser and cheaper in the long run than an expo...

IDK man. Lowering it and smaller tires going to definitely increase your MPGs. Also check out your gears you have. Might not be so much of a worry because you have a V6, but i know 4cyl that matters a lot.
Brakes, probably won't matter too much. The difference in rotating mass is little, so probably not much gain in MPGs.

Yeah I know what you mean man. My girlfriend actually started crying when I told her I was lowering it (it's been her dd for almost a year now). It's definitely a hard decision to make but we'll see where it takes us you know?
