    Awesome thanks. I am looking at the steel cover by SOLID bc it is almost 1 inch thick at the base for off road protection and holds extra fluid....... Also... 70$ on amazon :-)

    Hey, I saw in your recent post that you have the diff cover with the bearing cap preload supports. Do you have any pictures during the install of that cover? I just haven't been able to find anything to show what the load points look like and how they "mount" to the bearing caps. Are they just putting forward pressure on the caps to prevent movement during axle torquing?

    there are times when 4.10's would be better for me (such as when towing my box trailer) but over all they work fine for me and are a good balance of power/economy. if i only had one differential id consider regearing, but i know id be looking a t a minum $1,000 and i just dont think it would be worthwhile enough to spend that for the times it would help me, and with lower gears id probly drop a few m.p.g's when not towing. i get about 19.5 at best empty not towing. around 15 in town.
