if ur talking about the like corner pieces. im not sure what you would call them. but they are probably about 4-5 inches. ive built more and just build them to look good on the truck. just experiment with different lengths that you think look good.

u just have to build it to fit your truck the way you like it. i used a chop saw and it is a pain in the ass because you have to cut the angles in the metal and because it is turned and like diagonal you have to cut it like that and a chop saw is defiantly not the best tool for it. im not sure if you have seen my build thread on it but there is one. https://www.ranger-forums.com/fabrication-tool-tech-42/new-mods-headache-rack-88316/

its just 2x2 square tubing and mesh in it. pretty simple to build just cutting the angles in the square tube can be a pain with out the right saw.

They are super easy to install too. It was the first thing I did to my truck.

I think those tails are the same ones I have, just a little lighter. I think they look awesome. For $40 I would go for it.

It's the film on the back side of the gauges that let the clear bulbs appear green. If you change colors on 1995 and newer RBV's you need to remove it. Here are some helpful links to get ya started!

Now the second post shows how you can get any custom color you want your gauges to look. It's a little more involved but just look at the results. Shame it's not a 94 and older, we're lucky because the film doesn't absorb the LED color output. On my 94 I installed blue LED bulbs in the dash & HVAC and it shows blue, no removal of the film needed. The 95 & newer clusters have a different type film on them & it doesn't allow the LED's color to over ride it.

Anymore Q's? post me and I'll do my best to help!
