1.25" square tube (1" id)

anyone have a small piece they wanna send me for cheap? looking for about 6". my local yard only had stainless and they wanted $1 per INCH. home depot had nothing, lowes had 1.25" slotted for $16 for 3 foot.

It will probably cost more than 6 dollars to ship it, I would just get it from the yard.

Did you try Tractor Supply Company? They have a pretty decent amount of small metal.

go to a local metal supplier's, they can be found in the yellow book... i got my blocks to hold my driving lights for about 7$, and it's a lot more metal than you are looking for

i havent checked there yet, but i dont recall seeing last time i looked. i will look again though.

tried that, they only had stainless for $12 per foot.

there has to be a better deal than that....hell the metal recycler near me sells tons of metal for CHEAP. I bet if you looked a tad harder or asked around you could find some recycler around you.

try a different metal supplier... i tried several different places, some wanted ridiculous amounts for small pieces, other wouldn't sell less than 20 foot pieces...
