I have a 1996 Suzuki Katana for sale.
I purchased it last year knowing it had some issues.
Fixed them all before summer then road it back and forth to work all summer.
It's been a good bike, i believe someone was just lazy.

Anyway, It is a 1996. 599cc is what is listed. K&N air cleaner and jetted.
Twin exhuast verion 2 - 2 into 1 headers. Gets great mileage.

Speed-o was fuaked when I got it. Changed it out. So it now has a speed-o discrepency.
Actual mileage is in the 16K range. Showing 25K on the speed-o.
Bike is currently all white prime. I have a pint of Suzuki Gixxer Blue for the bike and all reducers.
Has a (brand new in july) set of New style bridgestone battle axes.
New mirrors, new smoked windscreen, new turn signals, new grips, new bar ends (stil primed), few new decals that were never installed (due to paint), New headlight bulb, new clutches and clutch cable and a new gel battery.

Bike is not new but is in good shape. Lots of wrench time and grease and lube put back into bike. I have had no issues with it!

Have the little trip odometer stem to reset the mileage and the screw, but that little thing is a biatch to get on there. two new springs for the kickstand as well. But I do not think that is the issue there. Sags just a little, I am a azz about that stuff so still messing with it so it is right. Very rideable as is though.

I will take 1800 for it heading through winter. If no sale I entend to have it painted and swingarm re-PC'ed and price will go up next spring.

wish I could convince myself that everyone else on the road isnt out to get me when Im on a bike, but 5 accidents over the course of my biking (not a single 1 my fault) and so many near hits on a daily basis just make it very hard to believe Im not looking at a bad end on one. which is why I sold my gixxr 7.5 last yr.

 

Wow! I need to consider myself lucky! I dont want to say never, but nothing major...
I have 4 street bikes now and I want a RC51 but something has got to give. I am a Honda person ( 1984 nighthawk 650 (my dads I refuse to part with), 2001 XR650L 2004 VTX1300C) so this is the odd one out. Needs to go before I start looking at anything else to put in the garage.
I actually believe that when this goes and I get my 94 CR250R motor back, it is going as well.

Too much clutter in the garage and we are looking at moving next spring... I dont want to deal with...
