3.7 Cyclone Swap
 

Is anyone interested in a 3.7 swap with the MT-82? I’ve got all the parts laying around and can take information if you need it. This has already been done in a sport trac so why not a smaller and lighter truck like the ranger? From the first quick looks, it will fit. A new trans tunnel looks to be a priority for the trans to fit.

Won't fit "as is" but you CAN do anything, lol

engine width and height are the main concerns, and yes transmission size as well

The 302(5.0l) engine fits and can easily make 300HP normally aspirated, 400HP if you use aluminum heads
