LED 3rd Brake Light....

Well I work at a truck accessory shop and I see alot of new stuff come through, and occasionally I get some crazy ideas. I saw this LED third brake light for super duty's and thought how similar it looked to our 3rd brake lights....come to find out, its the exact same. So, I ordered one in, and here's the result:

I had to wire it up to the dome light for the cargo lights, but other than that its a direct plug in.

Mine is actually by Pilot/Bully. Recon has the same one, yes, little bit more pricey though.

I got one off ebay a few weeks ago and wired in a flasher at the same time. Really makes people back off when the LED's are flashing at them! Well...most people back off.

you really don't have to, unless you want the cargo lights to work.

Yes, I have the recon third brake light. I wanted to get the superduty one and wire the side leds in with the dome light, but wasnt sure if the wires for those were seprate or not.

I thought they looked the same and fit the same, but were a different part number because the ranger one didnt have the light bulbs in the sides for the cargo, and the superduty one did. Your telling me the bulbs are there and just need to be wired in?
