the plow seen above, was used to push in vehicle traps so we could get up the top of the mountain... anyways, on the way back down, the plow's restraint system (which at this point, was a ratchet strap to the back bumper) came unhooked while driving at a good clip, (40km/hish) here is the pics that resulted... the front end of the truck came off the ground, and the front left tire went off the cliff... a little un nerving...

the truck, first time i saw it, which was maybe 2 months before these were shot, it was almost pristine, no dents, no scratches at all... the last time i saw it, the winsheild had been taken out by a deadfall he tried to drive through (not sure why) and same trail, different weekend, he took the pass window out with a similar situation...

the trail we went up, was an old logging road, and when they closed it down, they dug big holes in the road, all the way across, and piled the dirt up on one side,so you have to go over the pile of dirt, and back down into the hole, from peak to bottom of some of them were 8 feet... so we pus pallets in the hole, and pushed the dirt back in the hole... that is what the plow was for...

wow, you said that the truck went downhill quickly? i think that happens when you try and pole vault your truck alot.
looked like a capable and decent looking rig before it went downhill.

truck looks mint compared to a friends s10 which i just about took out yesterday.. in the bush, downhill no brakes couldnt get the thing into 1st fast enough... haha.. bounced off a few rocks...

ranger looks good...they did the same thing to the entrance to part of the our local gravel pit but of course that didnt stop some people from dragging the big *** rocks out of the way and smoothing out a "ramp" like thing into the section..

and? it helped us get through crap that we would not have been able to without it... that truck was virtually unstopable!

It might look funny, but it seems to have had a purpose and worked good. I first thought it was a catapult.

lol, we really should have video taped it in action, it worked AWESOME, like i said before, the holes we filled, were about 5' deep and about 8 feet wide, by 4 feet ish... tossed some cement pallets in the hole, and pushed the dirt on top of it, and drove right through!
