sho swap?

hi i have recently found a good deal on a taurus sho motor. and im curiouse if anyone has done the swap into a 3.0 ranger i curently have a 98 3.0 will i be able to find an adapter for the tranny and variouse other parts needed to adapt or would this be an unresonably expencive swap? thoughts please?

think of this its a east west motor you have a north south motor...really think about that and you will get your answer...

i know it a fwd motor but ive seen them fliped many times
and i want to do somthing different

different = expensive. If you got the cash and can deal with the down time, go for it.

your swap is gonna cost you roughly as much as the truck itself

and you are going to have to fab up your own tranny adapter or have professionally done

ok roach and shadow please put a reason you feel like its a waste of time or leave out unbacked opinions ok. im deciding on if i want to do the swap not if you want to do the swap.

i would say it isn't worth it. The time and effort and money is going to outweigh the results. The tranny alone would be a serious PITA. I advise against it.
