So you just want it to be unique huh? Well than I'd say slam it! I don't think I've ever seen a dropped FX4. The front is easy just un-crank your T-bars as far as you can that should drop it some. If not do what I did when I lifted mine and take them out and put them back in one notch off then you'll be able to tuck them tires up in there real nice.

Consider a different style factory rim/tire combo. Maybe a nearby forum bro could swap you out or at least let you try a different set out to get an idea what it would look like.
Or maybe a different style of fender flare. How about painting your flares, bed rail caps, and bumper plastic body color?

When I get the time, I am going to add LED's to the bottom of the door panels that illuminate the ground where you are about to step and constant mood lights on the floorboards when the headlights are on.
Riding around in my buddy's infinity G35 Sedan made me want them.
Add sound deadening to the back wall, doors, and roof for a quieter ride and more temperature insulation.
Eventually I'll start changing how the outside looks on my truck more and more. For now, I am just adding creature comforts.

I want some lights on a roll bar just so I can illuminate past my high beams.

Here's what I think if you want to be really different
Un crank the torsion bars and remove the factory block
225/70R17 BFG ATs on some nice 17" rims
and then drive the crap out of it and enjoy 4x4 with decent gas mileage
You'll probably get lots of hate for it on this site but it would look good and be unique.

That would look really nice actually. I x2 that ideaarrr.
Uncranking the torsions should drop you an inch and a half maybe? Remove or cut the lower bump stops. I imagine you would want to be careful with the CVs binding if it goes too low, just as when going too high.
Pulling the block out of the rear will drop it 2". Maybe put a flip kit in it.
Throw some Mustang bullitts on it and an exhaust and tear it up!
Nice clean ride to cruise during the summer months, and then when winter hits (although you're in GA) you've got a great capable 4x4 in the snow.
Go fer it!

You can take an inch or so out of the ride height, but theres cv-shafts to worry about then. Gumby dropped his a bit, he would be a better source of info on such.

It's not our fault Rangers are a PITA to lower "properly", 2wd or 4wd.
Not like the good ol' days of old skool mini trucks where you crank the torsions down, throw in some 3" blocks and pull some leaves, throw some 17s on it and call it a day.

Tightening doesnt seem to be any better.
