Our little jump seats for us ext cab guys sucks, we all know it. For off roading you're better off having a pole shoved up your ****.

So my idear is to get a set of seats from the junkyard coat them in a lot of 3m fabric protector or just reupholster them in vinyl, or seat covers that are water proof. Bolt them down and attach seat belts to the bed so I can drag a few more people down the trail.

Of course this would not be used on the street...Since it's illegal to carry people in the bed of a truck.

Anyone do it before in a ranger?

get a junk bench seat and put it in the bed like a tool box facing the tailgate.

 

I know the old subaru brats had 2 bucket seats in the bed stock. I think it would be cool but ive never seen em in a ranger.

Its not illegal here to have people in the bed. Its just you have to be able to have communication with a slider or ext cab windows poped open and there back has to be up against the cab.

If I could find out if it's legal in jersey to have passengers in the seats on the streets that would make my life so much better as I pick up my friends and 3 people are enough let alone 5.
