Brake Job

Hey yall I replaced my front brakes today on my 1998 ranger. I followed the how to page on here. It was great and really helped. The only addition to it would be to put in there to make sure that you open your brake fluid cap under the hood so that when you push your pistons back in the fluid and pressure has somewhere to go. I didnt do that today and fluid came out of my lines but luckily nothing busted. I was a pretty novice at putting on brakes but it was good I followed the steps and my hanes manual.

if fluid came out of the lines than you did blow a line. most likely the fluid came out of the cap and ran down the lines.

That's a good point. Also, if you have added any brake fluid you might need to take some out.
