I like the tube bumpers! I say #2. Having a big skid plate like that is great. i think it looks the best too.

To everyone that says the first one, what does mud have to do with the bumper?

x2

the first one is just gonna weigh the front down in mud anyway.

i personally don't like the 2nd one, but i think it could look good with a little more fabrication.

Exactly, tube bumpers are much lighter and they are still quite strong.

Putting one of those fat bumpers on the front of these trucks just doesnt make sense to me.. to each their own I guess.

So she can put a winch up front and have a recovery point that is currently non-excent

have a tube bumper with a winch mount made?

personally i love the look of tube bumpers but a winch (or the option to have one) would be a must if i were already going to spend the money on the bumper.

The top one!! Your truck looks nothing like a prerunner. maybe if you had 18 inches of travel the second one would like aight.

bump..............you should mount #2 on top of #1 and have the best of both worlds

i like seeing people answer a question wich is no longer a current topic, especially when its been said that she no longer owns the truck and people still give their opinions

It shows they really know what's going on and that they read the thread all the way.

This thread could really end up applying to anyone's truck who is thinking of the same ideas so who cares if she doesn't have the truck or not?

Since I have a Mazda and wanted to see some bumper options, I'd put the first one on my truck.

Neither of those are made for a Mazda. they are PS's from full size trucks. They do not make any off road type bumper for the Ranger.
