chrome brush guard?

i have a 2003 ford ranger 2wd...and before i buy a brush guard for it..i want to know if it looks good...does any1 have an idea how itll look?

blue..almost royal blue..but not quite

the bottom is about knee high...im afraid it may be too low for brush guard to look right...any ideas?

1) is it stock height?

2) do you live where it snows (salt roads)?

if you answer yes to any of these questions dont buy it..

it looks bout like the one in ur pic..cept its blue and is extended cab..and yes..as far as i know..its all stock..

Skid dude... brush guards only look good on Lifted SUV's... IMO...

I really like Procomp light bars though!

its not lifted..no...but the bed isnt raised higher than the front like normal 2wds

Well in all honesty, I would save the money and put it into just some lights for it or something... I wouldn't waste money on a skidplate or brush guard man... It just won't look right... but that's just my .02

In my opinon.....don't do it on a 2wd.

It reminds me of a bone stock '06 Toyota X-Runner Tacoma that has a Bully Bar on it! True story...street truck THATS LOWERED with a darn Bully Bar.

just curious..what's the average cost of skid plate or brush guard for rangers...the prices ive found tend to be $300-$400...is that bout right?

is there much difference in the 4wd and 2wd ride height on similar models..ive seen a 4wd with brush guard i havent noticed much of a height difference

ok..i have 1 for chrome, 1 for skid, and 1 for nothing....lol..not much better odds...any other opinions..plz..so i dont waste money

i do want a brush guard..but if it honestly wont look good at all..then i dont want to spend my money..and can get dual exhaust or somethin..i dont wrry about pleasing y'all..im lookin for solid advice/opinions.

yeah, get the black/polished westin bully bar. same one i have on my truck. looks good, not too big, not too small. and it withstands road dirt, road salt, etc.
