Dual Exhaust

HEY GUYS,
I'm thinking about putting a dual exhuast system on my truck. It's a 2004 Ranger 3.0 v6.
Any suggestions?

Well how do you want it to sound? The flowmaster 40's are always nice and most popular

That's definetely a new idea!

Anyways, there are several cat-backs that fit your truck. So just reseach the sounds and prices and pick which best suites your needs.

Here's a few of the popular ones to get you started:
Borla
Flowmaster
Gibson
Magnaflow

Go with Borla definitely! You will NOT be disappointed. The Pro-XS is what I recommend, and you can get them on eBay for about $70 bucks, which is only a little bit more than a flowmaster 40, and it sounds sooooo much better

+1 on the 40 series. If you want duals, you can get a single in/dual out on the flowmaster 40 series for like $70. I did on my 99 3.0, and I have loved every second of it...

Here's a few pictures of mine just to give you an idea of how you can run it. If you get it done right, it should last you a long time. It was coming straight out the back but I had to move it when I put the hitch on. I think I like it better now.

But of course. Isn't it illegal to have a dual exhaust and not have a sound clip? lol....well if it isn't, it should be.
I'm a big Flowmaster fan, but I can't take anything away from Borla or Magnaflow, they're both really good names.

Flowmaster 40
Single in - Dual out custom bent from the CAT back.

If that doesn;t work, let me know lol

If you have a digital camera, you should be able to do a sound clip.

Anyway, Sara, get what you think sounds best. Do you want something more throaty or more poppy, like cherry bomb stuff? The 3.0L's sound pretty good with the Flow 40's and the Borla's on them I think. Just my opinion though.
