Contacted the guy to see if he could make them and I think Ill pass and do something with my factory tails

$150 for tail light
$200 for LED lights
$250 for labor
$100 to black them out
total= $700

$700 dollar tail lights my luck I would get rear ended the first week with them on

 

Wowzers, can;t tell me he isn't making money on that deal. Id you can make OEM projectors retrofitted in '01+ housing for about half that why wouldn't you want bright legal-ish lighting to see, not necessarily to be seen for twice the price. You send him tails lights (your cost is probably half what he wants); offer half the cost of LEDs and he still makes money; 250 for labor is high but understandable, still high; blacking them out should be included it he cost...a can of nightshades is like $12. Even with my guesstimate prices, still overpriced IMO. If you want it done right, do it yourself and have the pride you did it and know how it works in case something fails. The whole reason why that "izntrbl" guy asks so much to do just low beam HID projectors for '01+ rangers and I failed to see the cost/benefit ration to my liking.

 

Ya I got 12 days off from work gonna screw around with some LED strips

I'm just not sure about soldering and resistors or what ever else you use to make them work
