Custom ranger

So I'm new here, and I just got a 1993 ford ranger has the 2.3l 5 speed from my older brother the front end needs replaced but I'm getting that replaced soon and I was wonder what are some good modifications for a 2wd ranger? I wanna make it look nice and give it some attitude any ideas? Thanks

Search, lowered or raised?

Look at different ideas and go from that.

Most people will lower a 2.3L 2wd ranger. Some have lifted them. Depends on the look you want to go with. I would lower it. If you want to lift one, pick up a 4x4 with a 4.0L

Thanks, I may lower it amd find a nice 4x4 with a 4.0 or one that has a 302 in it

Something else to consider since you are putting a new front end on.. a lot of people like the look of the 01-03 front ends. You need replace the header panel, grille, headlights, hood and bumper, (I think the fenders are the same.. I could be wrong).. but it looks a lot better than the 93-97 rangers in my opinion.

Only reason I say lower it btw is becuase you have a 4 cylinder and it probably gets decent mpgs.. lifting it and putting on bigger tires will kill mpgs and power in your truck. Just stuff to consider, it's your truck.. make it your own style. Just don't put hood scoops on it.

Yeah I plan on doing that cause I need the entire front end and yeah you make a good point I'll prob just get new tires and rims, and haha I ain't putting a hood scoop on it
