Hey all,

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger that I would like to convert to a diesel engine so I can get more out of it. I'm just not sure what engine to be looking for or what other modifications I should do. It's a 1999 has a 4.0L, 4x4, extended cab, and automatic transmission.

Any advice would be great.

 

Most typical is a 4bt. Do some research and you'll find everything you want to know, including the fact that it's about a $10k project
