European Headlight Conversion???
European Headlight Conversion???
Has anyone ever thought of replacing your lame DOT headlights for E (european) Spec ones? A guy I work with is always slamming my headlights. Apparently the European ones are literally night and day difference. Anyone here from that side of the pond??
It will probably just be worth it to get a set of off-road lights.

Well......Newer F150s and Expiditions have one piece headlamps. I'ts the aftermarket junk out there that claimed the 'euro' name i suppposed. I'm unsure as well brian. I relate the 'euro' name to crystal clear lamps.
those are the "Brazilian" headlights...
It's the cap in front of the bulb and I guess it distributes the light more evenly so it isn't a spot lamp.(guessing here)
I run HIDs so I wouldn't want to run them, risk of blinding on coming traffic with glare.. That's the only time I care with HIDs... Plus it's a wider beam with the relector, although, in Evans pics, he looks to have them on his truck... Hmmm.
there is no glare lol i have seen these in person hell rode with him behind me with them on there fine..
I dont believe that you can get European Code headlamps for the '01+ US Ranger, as the European Ranger is different.. E-code headlamps distribute the light different from US spec lights. They are also usually made from glass, which is not a smart idea. Keep your "lame DOT" lamps IMO.
i gots me a pair of them and yes i have HIDs and yes they blind people and they are a PAIN to aim down with the install i got nasty gaps on my fenders but will all be fixed in a matter of time
well well well worth the money!!

e-codes are not the same as the south american headlights. Europe has higher lighting standards. If you REALLY wanted the best possible light pattern your gonna want to do an HID projector retro, which takes time, skills, and money. Probably will look a little goofy also, but there is no other setup that will match it regardless of what others may say.
