No actually. The spindles were a present and came with an install at 4wheel parts. I think it was $700 all together with an alignment. But its not really that hard to do. I would imagine it would be loads easier with a nice set of impacts.

Here is the thread...https://www.ranger-forums.com/f59/ho...nstall-105818/

Yeah, about the same thing here. Just grab a friend who is mechanically minded and the two of you spend a weekend putting them on nice and slow and don't forget to torque everything down.

It only took like 3 hours. Don't go there. Go to some other offroad place. Gotta be someone local.

no cutting but just removing the factory bump stops and replacing them with the fabtech pieces is the only time you will see sparks

I didnt do any cutting, I still need to cut the factory steering stop off though, I installed doetsch spindles, the instuctions said you may have to cut the end of the control arm for clearence, I didnt cut mine and I dont have any problems.

So when I take off the bump stops how do I put the new ones on....well lemme ask this is it pertinant that I take the stock ones off cause the guy I'm getting the spindles from is selling the spindles and a-arms and he left the aftermarket bump stops on

ya i didnt chop anything off myself either and everything clears fine (fabtech) but i did need to clear a little space for the fisty new bump stops that are required. i would take his lower arms but instead of the hassel of installing those, just grind off the rivits on your factory stops and bolt up the new pieces from the arms he gives you because they simply will bolt up after a couple holes are drilled.

but warning!! the spindles will limit your steering drastically, and your chamber will be affected so it is necessary to instal a bolt and cam kit for the upper arm to correct this issue, and then take it for an allignment.

even after i took mine for an alignment it didnt come out very perfect and now my current tires show the wear ...

go to fabtech, (internet page) email them and ask for the bump stops that come with the lift spindle kit,, if they are willing to seperate the package, then order them or head over to a shop who can order them in for you..

ask fabtech and download the installation instructions from them and they will give you the measurements for the stop locations
