To sum it all up, it comes down to personal preference. I personally prefer the Flowmaster 40's, but that's just me. When I start it up, I am actually louder than my dad's Bronco with TRUE dual Thrush glasspacks. Not too loud while driving down the Hwy either. That's my $.02

I love that setup. It sound awesome and it's not extremely loud. But it's loud enough to make people turn to see what's driving by.

So if I wanted to get sort of a smooth muscle sound out of my truck...A Borla is more or less the way to go? Cause the last thing I want is to have that really loud choppy sound...

Ive got flowmaster on my 3.0 and everyone else who has flowmaster says mine is loud as $h!t only because from the cat before the muffler i have a 3" pipe instead of the stock pipe then after the muffler it goes to a 2.5" pipe to my tips ill try and get pics this weekend
