front bumper painting

I dont really like my front bumper. i dont think it goes with the rest of the truck-too much chrome
is it possible to paint it black? has this been done before? think itll look good?

There's a kit out that where you can paint chrome to make it look like black chrome. I think that'd look pretty cool... I think Duplicolor makes it.

i think if i did it, i would do the front and back bumper and maybe even the grille instead of just the front bumper so its not random? what do you guys think?

wow that looks really good. im wondering how dark i should go with it. or how many coats

i thought of doing the bedliner stuff but i really want it to look somewhat stock in other words blend with the rest of the vehicle.

I used the bedliner stuff works awesome. Doesn't chip at all.

oo thats also a good idea. i think im going to do the front bumper and the rear. how should i prep it? just give a good cleaning?

that might look good too if i did my fenders along with it.

There should be some instructions in that kit that will tell you the best way... but definitely a good cleaning to start!

Yeah I used 2 cans to do the front. It was like $7.50 a can. I also did the rocker pannels, rear bumper and tool box.
