They make flat ones for jeeps, like 3'x2'x3"

that is the mount that i reccommend. doesnt rattle at all. and i have wheeled it hard the way it is.

had any problems with the weight of the jack flexing the front of the box? I had flexing issues with my whip, ended up putting a 1/4" plate behind it to tighten it up.

but i'd think that those mounts would spread the load enough

yea they are for a fullsize but if they made em for rangers they be like 3 gal or round i have some like that about the height of my bed but round

no flexing of the box at all. i even have people sit on my toolbox and thing the jack is a footrest. the mounts have 4 bolts per side so it spreads the load nicely
