Headlight mod?

Headlight mod?

im having trouble geting the plastic lens off the headlights. Im cooking them in the oven and im cooking them at 210 for like 15 mionutes and there not coming apart . I dont want to pry it like a crowbar because the glass will barke.... Help pleeeze

Put them in longer but just keep watching them.

I had to putmine in for almost 30 min when I did mine

Im curious at what temperature glass barkes!


just watch em close, and put in the necessary time...

headlights

when you guys did them did they eventually come off easy when you had them at the right temperature or did you have to pry them off

I did mine at 250 for like 13 min and they came off with a little prying. Just be careful cause the plastic will bend if your prying too hard. If you still can't get them open after 20 minutes, bump the temperature up.

I pried, basically once you break the seal, itll come right off. I chipped the edge just a tad bit, but nothing you can see...

Yeah same here, once you get it back on though you'll never know. Make sure you don't leave them in there too long though.
