I was thinking doing red front turn signal bulbs ahha.

that looks really good. i like that idea too.

you want the lens if i buy them and dont like them? im thinking to start im going to buy the heads-mine are really sad looking-either crystal clear on chrome-just regular lens- or but the ones i posted above. and then do the turn signals after i see how it looks.

cant decide though. leaning towards what i posted above just because its a little different. i may end up staying with the amber lens for the turn signals just because it add some color and character to the front end.
either these

or
clear

thanks guys for your opinions!

Mr Rogers… LoL, wondering if there is a sweater with buttons in your closet ? Sorry Kris, just had to do it !.

I like the black look, learned with the Harley, too much cleaning with chrome all over the vehicle.

You guys that have these type of lights, how is the light pattern, clean and crisp or sort of blotchy and what bulbs are you using ?

IMO, I'd go with the chrome, and the regular clear headlights, not the LED ones. They are the same, but no LEDs in them. With the chrome grill and bumper, it will work well, or if you colormatch your grill and bumper to the truck, that would look good with either black lights or chrome. I definitely wouldn't mix them.

I tried the chrome once but it looked too flashy. Especially over the aged bumper. It was too bright. But if i did the park signals i would def do chrome. I did find a pair of chrome headlights that look a little tinted which might look ok. May be jus the pic thoo.
On second thought the clear chrome ones would look more stock.

this is it http://www.ebay.com/itm/170489117539...84.m1423.l2649

thats what i was thinking. ive never seen them before on a 99. so at least it would be unique. i also did like that style. thinking clear signals would look good.

ive never looked into projector lights before so i know nothing...all i know is my dads yota has them and they light up the road like its a sunny day

Those are the ones I have, but chrome. I modified the projectors considerably and they're now HID, but the regular headlight sucks on them. I'm looking at getting different style headlight and installing some FXR projectors in them.

Header panel, grille, grille surround, headlights, corners, and a relay under the dash.

98-00 over to a 01-03 is the easier of the swaps

And a black rubber flapper to hide some unsightly rust. A little piece of pedros ranger lives on mine.
