firewall space

Wouldn't it be great if auto manufactures built vehicles with convient spots to pass wire through the firewall. Seems like everyone these days is putting in stereo systems and lighting and all that stuff. It is just so hard to keep things clean looking when you are trying to find all this space to drill holes in your firewall.

I used the hole where my clutch would have been had I gotten a man... I have radio ant wires, my lighting and such all running throught the hole with plenty more room.

They definately should. Even a small patch of plastic with holes you can punch/cut out.
I have 0g wire, but I ran it under the truck and drilled a hole in my cab right where one of the jumpseats was. And my 4g runs through the truck and threw the firewall.
This is asking alot, but they should have power ran already to a block somewhere, like under a seat or something.

It would be nice, but dont forget that guys like us are a bit of a minority in the grand scheme of things. Not being a or anything.
What I've done in my 02 is run 0g wire through a fairly large grommet under the drivers feet, under the chassis to the batt. Inside the truck it's wired into a homemade power distribution box inside the cubby the drivers-side jumpseat folds into.
Just my idea that may work for others.

Just wondering why you ran 0g, without a stereo or anything near to the need.

But he doesn't have any in his profile, just wondering, and it takes some serious electronics to need 0g.

Awesome, do you have any electrical upgrades: battery or wiring etc. I'm sure you do.
