motor swap

it doesn't really make too much sense to me. There would be a lot of custom work that would need to be done, and at the end of all that, you'll be the only one who appreciates it to it's true value. You would be better off bolting in a 5.0L or doing something epic motor-wise sense you'd be spending a lot to do a 2jz swap.
At the end of the day, do what you think is best for you, but just remember that there won't be anyone to really help you through the process.

Thats the point of custom work. So that his truck is completely different from every other one out there. It will be a lot of work and any decent mechanic will be willing to at least give you advice and maybe even help. I say if you really want to go for it. I dropped a 4 cylinder mechanical diesel in my truck. Lot of fab work but very happy with what I got.

I'm not discounting your ability to achieve the goal. You just stated you wanted some opinions on the swap. All I'm saying, is you'll be the only one with a true appreciation for it. I only chimed in as you had said you wanted opinions.
It would be a very cool truck, and if you really liked the idea, you wouldn't be asking for our opinions or support.
