Guy is GREAT, can do anything you want. Best part is he owns a Ranger, and has a cool aluminum adapter for Ranger shifters.
Wife's old shifter (now has an FX4II, so no need for a custom!) It's a pic of our dogs....

heat it up with a hair dryer all the way around the base and PULLLLL. make sure you pull inline with the shifter and not on an angle or you will fracture the nylon shofter pck bushings, i usually put in in neutral and let it stay in its relaxed position between 3 and 4 and pull

trust me i know how hot that thing gets... came outside to go to lunch in september and i had to pull the sleeve over on my shirt just to be able to shift.. and it gets cold as hell at night.. but the polished alum looks so sexy and custom

but i love polishing my ****!
i need to take it back into metal shop and throw it on the lathe and sand it down and repolish it. the finish is starting to dull from the use .. anyone else have the problem of their shifter stick not being threaded like mine is? i drilled the **** to sit on there snugly but it doesnt screw on, so i think i may turn it down on the bottom and put a collar with a set screw in it
