hopefully an easy 4x4 conversion
 
1982 Ford Bronco 4x4 parts

Let me know what you guys think....could I just put the ranger bed and body on the bronco frame and call it good?...or no...or should I buy the rig and scrap the parts and throw them on the ranger....any help/advice is appreciated

Early 90s Rangers and Bronco IIs are compatible but regular Broncos are more like F-150s. No go.

Lol no, 97 and 98s are completely different generations.

And still no, the Bronco is like an F-150. The Bronco II is most like a Ranger. Period. Regardless of years.

you can put the ranger body and bed on. you will have to make body mounts obviously it wont bolt on. the bronco will be way wider under the ranger so itll be a wheeling only rig. theres pics floating around on the net of ranger bodys on fullsize bronco frames.

oh, yea. that is when they switched front ends. 97 last year, 98 first year. my bad.

no prob. keeping track of all the year changes can be confusing. not just whole generations but all facelift years and major part change years. like 95 interior change and 2001 OHV to SOHC change.
