Or forget about the install, get yourself a million power spot light.
If you have a cop riding your tail, pull over right away. Not only does it **** him off, but you are also doing nothing wrong by pulling over. I like the slam on the brakes technic, especially when you have a big *** hitch with ball attached to your hitch. Leaves a nice hole in the persons bumper who was illegally tailing you if impact occurs. Unless ofcoarse the vehicle that is tailing you has a metal bumper.
The slowing down and driving like a senior citizen method always seems to work well.

ok well first off this sorta happened to me in my buddies truck he had reverse lights on his bumper and i hit the switch didnt know what they were so i got pulled over and the cop said those lights are for offroad use only so no matter where you put them on the truck they are legal but use them on the road and it is illegal anyways when you buy the lights read the box it will say FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY!!!!! so there you go

there are a lot of items that say for offroaf use only, this does not make it illegal for on road use, it's simply a disclaimer that the manufactures put on the product to cover their *** incase someone gets a ticket for using it... the labeling on the package cannot create, or change laws... mainly most companies do not want to research all of the different laws, for all of the different jurisdictions

the most hilarious way of doing it is keep a good speed/pace when there's no traffic coming in the opposite direction. Once a long line of cars starts coming your way slow right down. It drives the tailgaters bonkers, and there is no where for them to go! weeee!

on my truck, I have 2 55 watt tractor lights under the bumper at the ends of my hitch... I also mounted 2 55watt fog lights ( the box called the fogs) on the backrack.... chrome housing on the upper ones... for a total of 6 backup lights. Given I have 5% limo tint on my back window, plus the wire mesh of the backrack, the 2 extra higher back up lights made a WORLD of a difference. However, they are wired so that when I put the truck in reverse, they come on... and only when the truck is in reverse.

It should be noted that the factory harness is not large enough to run anymore than the factory bulbs, and that to run more lights, it is recommended that you run a new power source for the new lights, and use the factory harness as your switch.

WTF, If your in the left lane, move over. It's for faster traffic and passing. I hate the SOB A$$Holes that just ride in the left lane. Be courtious and move over and stay in the right lane unless you are passing... That's the LAW! As far as flashing headlights it is meant as a curtiousy in Europe as it should be here. It's intended to warn you that a car is behind you that is going faster so move over damn it!! If you don't they may run in to you and you have caused the accident by not moving over. Geez!

One clarification, I hate tailgaters too. But I move over. I'm not going to be the one accused of road rage by causing an accident by blinding the A$$HOLE with some lights or slaming on my brakes, that's just freaking stupid, not to mention dangeous (you might the one in the dtich hurt or worst yet dead, can you say pit manuver).

WHAT EVER!

It figures, your from New Jerksy. No problem, go ahead and slam on your brakes, damage your vehicle, and maybe wind up in a ditch hurt or worst yet, dead. Your the ignorant one here, but I couldn't give $hit! Do what you got to do to make a stupid point.

transports fun the same sort of deal on the sides for people passing them, brake checking works better to get them off your ***, and sometimes a new bumper out of the deal too lol
