Yea if I didnt need a front plate in Texas I would take mine off
i ran with out mine for almost 2 years, had it on for the drive up here, then took it off again. but judging by some of your posts you may not want to give cops reasons to pull your ass over :rambo: about the plate placement.. on the Evo it looks great the taco is ok.. but the ranger, sorry it just doesn't fit in. take that biach off |
atm its back in the center... |
yea, imma have to agree with putting it back or taking it off completely. it looks pretty lame on the side.

looks like a mistake... once you get a turbo and innercooler well talk
Yep, that's the only reason it's offset on the evo.. |
yes sir that truck does have a buck tooth!
|
uhhh what
|
Does it have an intercooler? Roll with out the plate who cares about a fix it ticket?
|
Meh...
|
This thread got me thinkin what about the plate mounted center but behind the bumper. You will still be able to see most of the plate...
|
not something id do but hey if u like it go for it!
|
Unless you moved it out of the way so it doesn't block the intercooler (LOL), it just looks off. Usually it's moved because it serves a purpose (i.e: being in the way of something) and usually because that State requires a front plate and they (the owner) need to have it on there.
Definatly looks out of place. But it's your truck. |

I've got mine on the lower valence. I personally think it looks pretty sweet, I plan on putting the 3/4 kit on it, so it'll be like an inch and a half off the ground. It does catch curbs and parking blocks alot tho

Neg to all 3....
who puts a front plate on a evo?? Looks like crap, just pay for a ticket every once in a while the taco and your truck look out of symmetry with the plate to one side take it off |
^ Kinda why i said "Personally"
|
You know.....I rocked no plate for a long time......as it got ripped off when I was up the mountain wheelin'. That was my excuse to cop.....only pulled over once though for it. I really prefer no plate...but oregon sucks....and we gotta have it. I plan on mounting it on my skid plate when i make a new skid. Right now it's kinda funny.....I've got 3-09 tags on the back, and 3-07 tags on the front!. lol.
07sport.....I hope you moved it back to stock. |
