i wanna make an exhaust set up exactly like the ford f150 lighting

i am thinking of taking the old cat back exhaust right off the flange and buying a new flange pipe, a y-pipe and some tips and making the exhaust exit right before the rear tire like the ford lighting trucks.
Has anyone done this before? wondering if anyone has a set up and could help me out

Flowmaster 40 SI/DO. Never had it without the muffler. My buddies own an exhaust shop and just bent that up

Most exhaust shops will bend and attach the tubing for pretty cheap. I had mine done at a local shop, and to remove my old system, attach the muffler (Flowmaster Super 44 SI/SO), bend the tubing, and take it back to axle and dump it cost me right around $35.

Theres a lotta rangers with similar lightning exhaust. And I see why... Itd be near impossible to run duels out the back/off center with the spare tire where it is

My stock, iirc was 2" and I went with 2.5 for the dump, for a lower grumble. I think when I get it redone here soon I'm gonna get 3" and maybe even sound like a v8.. hah

x2. Plus I don't think you could put anything bigger than a 31" tire in there anyway

Magnaflow single in dual out. They moved my O2 bung right up against the cat and the muffler is right behind that. They made sure to tuck all the exhuast up so you really only saw the tips under the truck.

Dual exhaust straight out the back can be done on a Ranger with the spare tire under and a hitch. This was custom bent as well though.

Whats that gotta do with anything? Who wants to haul a spare tire around in there bed? Besides, if its a pretty nice, common tire like a 33, itd get stolen

I have the spare in the bed of my 97 lowrider cause I'd never get it down with it being so low, and I have a bike cable through the wheel and an inner tie down with a pad lock on it.

The 4th-and last-exhaust I've had on this truck. Looks great, sounds great, well made, but pricey. If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed.

I couldn't even get my spare 31 on a crager to fit under there. I don't know how they pull it off on the FX4 Level IIs.

I like it better anyway. Plus in flex situations you don't hit the exhaust.
