Would this work? (tonneau question)
Ok, had a great idea come through the past weekend....
My tonneau cover is a fiberglass paintable version. Was painted to match, but not great quality, and will need to be redone.
What if you did this.........paint it with the same bed liner material like a Line-X product.
It seems to make sense...
1) It wouldn't chip or crack, it would have some gurantee to be tough as nails...
2) Would be easy to wash, would have to worry about scratching it or anything.
3) Would be more of a permanent finish. The Undercover brand of tonneaus is the rough finish to it (like spackle), but looks sharp.
4) Plus it would be a black color too. Might look cool with my truck.
Thoughts?
